Paul Joseph Klaiber, age 61, of Force, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Manor, Girard after a He was born Nov. 22, 1951 in DuBois, son of the late Patricia (Klaiber) Bauer.
On Feb. 9, 1974, he married Caren (Cameroni) Klaiber, she survives.
He was a graduate of St. Marys High School Class of 1969 and worked with Powdered Metal Products of St. Marys for 34 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Force. Prior to his illness, he was a member of the Bennetts Valley Lions Club and an active member of the Bennetts Valley Labor Day Committee. He lived all his life in Force.
In addition to his wife, Caren (Cameroni) Klaiber of DuBois, he is survived by two children, Ruthann (Mike) Pounds of Erie and Joseph (Kristy) Klaiber of Elmira, N.Y.; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Joseph Klaiber will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Force, with Father Thomas Tyler celebrant.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield, Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
