Pauline Cicuzza

Pauline Cicuzza, 87, of Shawmut Avenue, Johnsonburg, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at the Elk Regional Health Center following a short illness.
She was born Dec. 20, 1926 in Shawmut, daughter of the late Frederick and Flora (Minnick) Fischer.
On Nov. 10, 1946, she married Clement A. "Dubb" Cicuzza, he preceded her in death on May 18, 2006.
She was a homemaker, member of St. John Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg Senior Center, and was known for her frequent walks around the area for exercise.
Born and raised in Shawmut, she lived most of her life in Johnsonburg.
She is survived by a son, James (Deborah) Cicuzza of Johnsonburg; three grandchildren, Christine, Corinne and Brett Cicuzza of Charlotte, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Cicuzza-Beach and Isaiah Anderson; and one sister, Frances Kaufman of South Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Fischer; and four sisters, Gertrude Berkey, Dorothy Faulkner, Mildred Larson, and Ruth Washkow.
A funeral service for Pauline Cicuzza will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg, with Pastor Stephen Fair presiding. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10-11 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church.
The family suggests memorials to the St. John Lutheran Church.
