A year after holding their first pet photo contest to raise funds to benefit the Elk County Humane Society, St. Marys Dairy Queen is once again calling on area pet owners to submit photos of their pets enjoying a Dairy Queen treat.
This year's contest began on May 15 and will continue through June 10. Entries may be submitted at Dairy Queen, through the business' Facebook page, or via email at stmarysdq@gmail.com.
"The initial contest (last year) was a huge success," said St. Marys Dairy Queen owner Theresa Hodgdon. "We received 50 entries and raised $1,196.53 for the Elk County Humane Society. This year's contest will be run pretty much the same as last year, although we did extend the submission and voting time frames."
