Pirate Night to be held Wednesday at community pool

August 18, 2014

File photo – Several individuals are shown gathered around a fire ring at Pirate Night last summer. The fire ring will also be used during Wednesday's event.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will be wrapping up a three-game homestand with the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night at PNC Park, and area residents are encouraged to come to the St. Marys Community Pool for the Memorial Park staff's lone Pirate Night of the summer. The game, which is scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. start, will be projected on a screen under the pavilion in the pool's snack bar area.
