Polar Sweet Express benefits CAPSEA

A large crowd was on hand at the Polar Sweet Express event held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Franklin Center in St. Marys. The numerous vendors on hand were selling such products as jewelry, purses, beauty items, kitchen wares, embroidered goods, kettle corn, chocolate items and more, and the event also featured wine and beer samplings. Proceeds from the event benefitted CAPSEA, as all those in attendance who contributed a monetary donation or wish list item for the shelter were automatically entered in drawings for a 50-inch television or signed Pittsburgh Penguins jersey.
