Police intern policy approved

A new policy entitled the Internship Ride-Along Program through the City of St. Marys Police Department was approved during the most recent St. Marys City Council meeting.
Chief Todd Caltagarone explained the policy before council, stating that while the program has been in place for several years, he believed there needs to be a formal policy in place to protect the police, the observer and the general public.
