Potential water line upgrade discussed

July 2, 2014

The Fox Township Supervisors discussed an update of a water line in the Toby Water System during their Wednesday evening meeting.
Work would entail replacing old lines and possibly moving lines as well.
Supervisor Randy Gradizzi said he contacted the St. Marys Water Authority with an offer to pay for a tap to a residence from one of the St. Marys lines, however the cost is just under $4,000. For that amount Gradizzi said it is cheaper for the township to run a line from the pipe.
Supervisor Mike Keller brought up the possibility of upgrading their connection with St. Marys water.
