Projects slated for elementary and high schools

mong the two building projects bids approved was the Kelly Gym renovation at South St. Marys Street Elementary and new carpeting in the St. Marys Area High School Carpin Auditorium.
The gym project bid was submitted by Fred L. Burns, Inc. in Shippenville in the amount of $285,000.
It entails replacing all the windows and frames, floor repair, painting of gym, new ceiling and wall pads, installation of standards for sleeves to set up volleyball and tennis nets, electric motors to raise and lower the side basketball nets, replacement of new glass blocks due to water damage.
