Prom at Silver Creek Terrace

A Senior Prom was held Saturday, May 19 for the residents of Silver Creek Terrace, with the theme being "Hawaiian Luau."
Entertainment was provided by the Shaffers and the place was decorated in a Hawaiian theme. The residents wore grass skirts, leis, head flowers, hats and sunglasses. There was food and drink for everyone.
The prom was enjoyed by all the residents so much that they didn't want to leave.
Whether a senior citizen resides in a nursing home, personal care home or assisted living facility, it does not mean they can't laugh and have a good time. They can participate in activities, attend events and parties and much more.
The entire event was sponsored by the PEER group at Silver Creek Terrace.
Resident Grace Sestina was named Prom Queen and Tony Dinardo was named Prom King.
