Property goes from blighted to bright spot

From an eyesore to a pleasant sight, the location of a former blighted property is in the process of being turned into a green space for the community's enjoyment.
The site is the former Dmitri Building which burned down and was demolished by the city several years ago. The building last housed a printing and copy store.
St. Marys City Council recently approved the sale of 43 N. St. Marys St. to Hawk Ridge Trading, owned by Leah and Mike Whiteman. The Whitemans also own the adjacent Elk County Real Estate business.
