Ragland attributes freedoms to veterans

November 9, 2013

In honoring our military veterans the St. Marys Area High School hosted their annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday afternoon during which a guest speaker, retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Donna J. (Wickett) Ragland of St. Marys, emphasized the role veterans have played in securing our valued freedoms and liberties.
Ragland began her military career early, enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1975 during her senior year at Elk County Christian High School. She attended basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
