FOX TWP. – Several Fox Township residents living on David Street have expressed their concern about a troublesome ditch running behind their properties which has been the cause of several issues.
The group was in attendance at Wednesday evening's Fox Township Supervisors meeting where they were adamant about finding a solution to the ongoing problem.
During the recent heavy rains the ditch overflowed and flooded many of their basements causing significant damage. The homes were also flooded on June 13, 2013. In addition the ditch has eroded their properties, collects stagnant water attracting mosquitoes and has not been cleaned out for several years.
