Richard E. Reitz

Richard E. Reitz, formerly of Wilcox, died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown.
Born in Ridgway, he was the son of the late Damon and Edna Green Reitz.
He was the husband of Elizabeth Mecca Reitz of Elizabethtown and his first wife, Verna Summers Reitz, who died in 1993.
He retired as a machinist in Palmyra, and also worked at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill. He was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra and past master of Masonic Lodge #675 F&AM, Johnsonburg.
In addition to his second wife, he is survived by a son, Richard E. Jr. and his wife Cheryl Reitz of Kissimmee, Fla.; a daughter, Beth Ann and her husband Frank DeMasi of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Besides his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral Services for Richard E. Reitz are private and at the convenience of the family.
