The Fox Township Supervisors began their Wednesday evening meeting by observing a moment of silence for Blaine E. "Skeeter" Wildnauer Jr., a Fox Twp. volunteer firefighter who died in the line of duty on Saturday.
Supervisor Randy Gradizzi updated the board regarding a request the township submitted to PennDOT to place a "Watch Children" sign near 850 Brandy Camp Rd. While "Watch Children" signs are approved by PennDOT, the entity is not in favor of the signs because they feel they are ineffective, have no guidance as to the exact location where the signs are placed and they create a false sense of security.
