Robert E. Austin Jr.

Robert E. Austin Jr., 74, of Rockport, Texas, died Friday, March 28, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
Robert was born in Reynoldsville on March 10, 1940 to the late Robert E. and Elizabeth I. (Brochey) Austin, both from Pennsylvania.
Robert worked in construction, was a member of the National Guard, enjoyed sports (especially basketball), and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Robert called several states home, including Pennsylvania, New York, Alabama, and Texas, where he spent his final years.
Robert is survived by his sister, Patricia A. (Gary S.) Kline of Brockport; his half-sister, Kathy (Keith) Mader of Ridgway; half-brothers Gary (Maureen) Austin of Ridgway, Ken (Roxanne) Austin of Kersey, and Bill (Lisa) Austin of Corning, NY. Robert is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A private service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
