Robert L. Sewell Sr.

Robert L. Sewell, Sr., 66, of 662 Washington St., St. Marys, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 25, 1945 in Panama City, Fla., son of the late Louis E. and Ruth Fields Sewell.
On Aug. 19, 1976, in Alabama, he married Patricia A. Taylor, who survives.
Mr. Sewell was employed as a mechanic and attended schools in Panama City. He had resided in St. Marys for the past three years.
Mr. Sewell served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert L. Sewell Jr. of St. Marys; four grandchildren, Alex, Zach, Jackie, and Nathan Sewell; and by a niece, Chandler Kirby of Pensacola, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Funeral and Committal services for Robert L. Sewell Sr. will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
