Ruth M. Wasson

Ruth M. Wasson, 99, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 327 Walnut St., St. Marys, died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Pinecrest Manor. 
She was born on April 17, 1913 in St. Marys and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Irene McHenry Loeffler.
On June 28, 1941, she married Arthur C. Wasson at Sacred Heart Parish in St. Marys. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1989.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Public School. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for the state. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed cooking and making a home for her family.
She is survived by four children, June Bush of Kersey, Mary Kay Missler and her husband (Roger) of Stoneville, N.C., Robert Wasson and his wife (Kathy) of Prescott, Ariz., and Marian Green and her husband (Richard) of Brockway; five grandchildren, Scott Miller, Brandy Bush, Brian Bush, Siobahn Wasson and Erik Green; and one great-grandchild, Selene Bush. 
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Regis Loeffler and Bernice Loeffler; and two brothers, Alfred Jr. (Sonny) Loeffler and William Loeffler.
A memorial service for Ruth M. Wasson will be celebrated at the family’s convenience. There will be no visitation.
