Sahlee J. Courson, 72, of 52 Sabula Lake Rd., DuBois, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1939 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Agnes Schriner Bowser.
She married Theodore "Ted" Courson, who survives.
She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in DuBois and enjoyed hummingbirds and collecting butterflies.
In addition to her husband, Ted Courson of Sabula, she is survived by four sons, Michael Courson of Penfield, David (Kate) Courson of Sabula, Ronald Courson of Sabula, and William Courson of New Philadelphia, Ohio; a brother, Jack Bowser of St. Marys; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruthie Lindemuth.
Funeral services for Sahlee J. Courson will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Inc., Brockway, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Montgomery.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
