Sharon L. Goetz

Sharon L. Goetz, 47, of 148 Lynch Rd., St. Marys, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on April 20, 1964 in St. Marys, the daughter of Jerome and Mary Ann Meyer Wendel of St. Marys, who survive.
On April 22, 2011 in Williamsport, she married Robert Rudolph, who survives, and who was not only her husband, but also her caregiver.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1982. She also was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was employed at Eastern Sintered Alloys. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church and enjoyed cooking and bowling.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is also survived by a daughter, Megan Goetz and fiance Brandon Bolden of St. Marys; two sisters, Debbie Sheridan of Goshen, N.Y., and Jennifer Dippold (Michael) of St. Marys; a brother, Andy Wendel (Jamie) of Hurricane, W.V.; and by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon L. Goetz will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
