Shawn M. “Buck” McCabe

Shawn M. “Buck” McCabe, 41, of Johnsonburg, and recently of Rock Hill, S.C., died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
He was born Dec. 5, 1970 in Ridgway, son of Robert and Patricia (Klink) McCabe of Johnsonburg.
A graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School, he lived most of his life in Johnsonburg and the past six years in South Carolina. He worked with Pipeliners Union 798 for the past several years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Johnsonburg American Legion and Central Hose Company. He enjoyed going to the family camp and spending time with friends and family, and especially with his daughter, Samantha.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Patricia (Klink) McCabe of Johnsonburg; one daughter, Samantha McCabe of St. Marys; two brothers, Robert McCabe Jr. and Corey (Sara) McCabe, both of Johnsonburg; four sisters, Tracie (Vince) Redmond of Rock Hill, S.C., Mary (Carl) McAninch of Weedville, Kellie (John) Imbrogno of Johnsonburg, and Laurie Jones, also from Johnsonburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his grandparents.
The family of Shawn M. "Buck" McCabe will be receiving friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Ubel Funeral Home in Johnsonburg.
A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the funeral home, with Father David Wilson officiating.
