Sheri R. Greak

Sheri R. Greak, 66, of 815 Middletown Rd., Lake City, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Ridgmont Assisted Living Facility after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 6, 1946, in McKeesport, the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Ethel R. Snyder.
She married Leonard G. Greak (PSP) , and he predeceased her in death on April 29, 2003.
She graduated from Holy Ghost Academy, Mercy Hospital (Pittsburgh), and Hananaham (Philadelphia) with a degree in Nursing.
Mrs. Greak worked for Equafax as head of their nursing program in Harrisburg and Dallas, Texas. She worked for Dr. Michael Hall as Office RN for five years. She worked for the Office of Human Services as Protective Care for the elderly and also worked with Mental Health for the involuntary commitment cases.
She loved going to Red Lobster with her grandsons for any special occasion. She was proud of her grandchildren’s accomplishments in school on projects they completed. She loved pet setting for her friends and going to the YMCA to work out with friends. She had her first sky-diving experience at age 62 with her companion, John Billick.
She is survived by three daughters, Kristin Eshbach (Jason) of Ridgway, Shelly Wagner of Reading, and Dawn Kinker of Florida; five sons, Michael Greak of Carlisle, Daniel Greak of Whitfield, Frank Greak of Whitfield, Keith Greak of Florida, and Donald Greak of Whitfield; 18 grandchildren, Danielle, Brooke, Logan, Jason, Josh, William, Autumn, Austin, Aidan, Arin, Michael, Crystal, Ryleah Greak, Gage, Cory and Blane Eshbach, and Elizabeth and Isabella Kruntzer; and by three great-grandchildren, Preston, Ethan, and Renae Greak.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Shane Hill.
Memorial services for Sheri Greak will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Interment was in Lake City Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral arrangements, are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Office of Human Services, or to Hospice, or to the YMCA or to CAPSEA.
