Shirley L. McMillen

Shirley L. McMillen, 69, Brookville, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.
She was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Falls Creek, a daughter of the late William David and Mary C. Barnett Stauffer.
Ms. McMillen attended Reynoldsville High School. She was formerly married to William Dale McMillen, who preceded her in death March 10, 1991.
Ms. McMillen was a waitress for 22 years at Truck Stops of America.
She was an active member of her church, the First Assembly of God in Punxsutawney.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Edward L. McMillen and wife Candice of Ashland, Ohio, Robert D. McMillen of Brookville, and Daniel E. McMillen and wife Patricia of Brookville; two brothers, Franklin E. Stauffer of North Carolina and Walter H. Stauffer of St. Marys; two sisters, Ethel Painter of Punxsutawney and Ruth Stauffer of Reynoldsville; and four grandchildren, Casey J. Henderson of Ashland, Ohio, Laura N. McMillen of Summerville, Jonah W. McMillen of Summerville and Natalie C. McMillen of Brookville.
In addition to her parents, Ms. McMillen was preceded in death by three brothers, David W., Daniel T. and Robert L. Stauffer; and a sister, Alice P. Garver.
Memorial services for Shirley L. McMillen were held at the First Assembly of God, 2785 Walston Rd., Punxsutawney, with Pastor Chris Golembiowski officiating.
