SMASD approves personnel items

At Monday's meeting of the St. Marys Area Board of School Directors, the board approved a number of new personnel items on the agenda.
All employment recommendations are provisional for 30 days pending receipt of Act 151 and Act 34 clearance documentation.
The following professional resignations were accepted: Nancy DaMore, of St. Marys, as librarian-SMAMS, effective June 1, 2012.
The following professional personnel transfers were approved: Tiffany Gump, of St. Marys, from part-time to full-time teacher, effective Aug. 22, 3012.
The following supplemental contract hires for the 2012-2013 school year were approved:
Rachel Schreiber, assistant track coach at a renewed rate of $662, 1/2 contract.
