Stopping at the grave of George Simons during a recent tour of the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, local historian Ray Beimel cited the fact that one never knows who they will end up buried next to due to the cemetery's layout. Some family members are buried together or in close proximity to one another while others are scattered throughout the facility.
Simons, who served as the secretary for many of the corporations founded by Andrew Kaul, falls into the latter category.
