St. Boniface Catholic School's gala on Saturday was well-attended, with students and their families, faculty and clergy, and parishioners of St. Boniface Church coming together to celebrate their school in what will be an annual event.
"We had our big 125th anniversary event last year, and we want to continue having a yearly dinner," said Debra Nunamaker, second grade teacher at St. Boniface for the past five years.
Following Mass, attendees gathered in the school cafeteria, where there was a large collection of photographs and yearbooks depicting St. Boniface students throughout the years and placemats at each table with quotes from current students regarding their favorite thing about St. Boniface. "My favorite thing about coming to school at St. Boniface is the teachers and how nice they are!" read a quote from St. Boniface second grader Andrea Adamski.
