St. Marys City Council discusses grant agreement

City Council held a special meeting Friday evening to discuss a cooperative agreement between the City of St. Marys and Creekside Investments for a grant to build a hotel in the city. The grant is a $3 million reimbursement grant being administrated through North Central Enterprises, a non-profit community development organization.
All council members were present. Todd Hanes was present to represent Creekside Investments.
City solicitor Tom Wagner opened the discussion by saying that final agreement had not yet been drafted, regarding the responsibilities of North Central Enterprises, Creekside Investments and the City of St. Marys.
