St. Marys City Police Officer Gerg celebrates retirement

On May 7, 2011, family, friends and co-workers of Patrolman Jerome Gerg Jr. celebrated his retirement after 20 years of service to the citizens of St. Marys. The event was held at the Edgewood in St. Marys. Officer Gerg began his career with the Benzinger Township Police Department on Dec. 20, 1990 and retired Dec. 31, 2010. Â
