St. Marys holds annual Veterans Day ceremony

November 11, 2013

It was a chilly and blustery morning on Monday, but that did not stop a number of area residents from making their way to the Diamond for the annual Veterans Day Memorial Service, which began promptly at 11 a.m.
Though the day was dreary and overcast this year, unlike last year which saw sunshine and blue skies, Master of Ceremonies Victor Straub began his remarks by commenting that at least it was not precipitating.
