St. Marys superintendent search continues

The search continues for the next St. Marys Area School District Superintendent.
Recently the SMASD Board of Directors completed the initial screening phase of the search which entailed a selection process.
A total of 15 candidates initially applied for the position, none of whom were current staff members according to Robert Luchini, board president.
During the preliminary assessment the board reviewed every candidate's application documents and background research in order to determine how each applicant corresponds to the expected qualifications of the superintendent.
