Summer Reading Program kicks off

On Saturday morning the large meeting room in the downstairs area of the St. Marys Public Library was filled with sounds more befitting of a science laboratory than a library. It was all part of the kickoff event for the library's Summer Reading Program: Fizz, Boom, Science with Sean.
This year's Summer Reading Program theme is "Fizz, Boom, Read," and so the help of Sean Petrick, a librarian from DuBois who has degrees in environmental science and computer science, was enlisted for the occasion.
