Superintendent: SMASD gifted program uncut

In addressing parental concern surrounding the status of the St. Marys Area School District's gifted program, Superintendent Ann Kearney assured parents at a recent Board of Directors meeting that the program had not been cut.
"I had a couple of phone calls concerned about the gifted program. One parent thought we cut the gifted program and we did not and I want to make that clear," Kearney said.
