Susan J. Ginther

Susan J. Ginther, 57, of 270 Birch Valley Rd., Kersey, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the home of her daughter, Allison Bauer, of 534 Vine Rd., St. Marys, following an illness of the past several months.
She was born Jan. 11, 1955 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Robert G. and RoseAnn Spangler Dinsmore. On Feb. 29, 2000 in Las Vegas, she married Terry B. Ginther, who survives.
Susan was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1972. She was employed for over 30 years at Metal Powder Products, formerly Carbon City Products.
She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Dagus Mines American Legion Auxiliary and was an avid gardener.
Susan is survived by a daughter, Allison Bauer and her husband Butch of St. Marys; two grandchildren, Tazharae Bauer and Damian Bauer; a sister, Debbie McDermott and her husband Thomas of Kersey; and by two brothers, Mark S. Dinsmore and his wife Marsha of Dagus Mines and Melvin J. Dinsmore and his wife Carol of Kersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Weyant on Oct. 19, 1981 and Roberta Swanson on Nov. 7, 2010.
A private service for Susan J. Ginther will be held at the convenience of the family in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, St. Marys, with the Rev. Thomas More, OSB, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations if desired may be made to the Community Nurses, Inc. Hospice, 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857.
