Teacher contract talks deadlocked in Ridgway

RIDGWAY – For the last two years, the Ridgway Area School District's 78 teachers have been working without a contract after a breakdown in talks between them and the district's Board of Directors.
The deadlock continued with Tuesday's meeting of the Board in which all nine of its members voted to reject the latest proposal presented to them by the teachers union.
