Teresa "Jutta Fodge" McRae died over the weekend as a result of injuries sustainedÂ from being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in her hometown of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was born July 22, 1946 in Germany.Â She came to St. Marys in 1949 with her parents, the late Francis R. Fodge and Elizabeth "Elsie" Desjardins.Â She grew up in St. Marys and attended the Sacred Heart ElementaryÂ school and graduated from St. Marys Public High School.Â Terri was a deeply spiritual person who loved nature and in particular loved working in her garden tending to her flowers, vegetables and herbs.Â She was also an avid reader andÂ enjoyed ridingÂ her motor bike to flea markets in search of hidden treasures.
She is survived byÂ her sister, Patricia Fodge and husband Jack Tucker of St. Marys; and by her brother, Michael Fodge and his wife Debra of Ohio.Â She is also survived by her daughters, Sharon ReillyÂ of Arizona, Danielle Skultety and her husband RichardÂ of Washington Nicole MeltonÂ of VirginiaÂ and Tanith MillsÂ of Florida; andÂ nine grandchildren.
A mass of remembrance will be held at the Sacred Heart Church at a later date.
