Teresa "Jutta Fodge" McRae

December 19, 2013

Teresa "Jutta Fodge" McRae died over the weekend as a result of injuries sustained from being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in her hometown of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was born July 22, 1946 in Germany. She came to St. Marys in 1949 with her parents, the late Francis R. Fodge and Elizabeth "Elsie" Desjardins. She grew up in St. Marys and attended the Sacred Heart Elementary school and graduated from St. Marys Public High School. Terri was a deeply spiritual person who loved nature and in particular loved working in her garden tending to her flowers, vegetables and herbs. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed riding her motor bike to flea markets in search of hidden treasures.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Fodge and husband Jack Tucker of St. Marys; and by her brother, Michael Fodge and his wife Debra of Ohio. She is also survived by her daughters, Sharon Reilly of Arizona, Danielle Skultety and her husband Richard of Washington Nicole Melton of Virginia and Tanith Mills of Florida; and nine grandchildren.
A mass of remembrance will be held at the Sacred Heart Church at a later date.
