Theresa Virginia Nebesnak

Theresa Virginia Nebesnak, 82, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, and formerly of Johnsonburg, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born on Oct. 3, 1929 in Lackawanna, N.Y., to the late Samuel Pace and Virginia Flynn. She married Emil S. Nebesnak, who predeceased her on Aug. 30, 2004.
She resided in St. Marys for the past 10 years, but had lived most of her life in Johnsonburg. She was a self-employed hairdresser in the 1960s, the original director of the Johnsonburg Senior Center during the 1970s, and was a private secretary with E.A. Detroyer, Inc. in New Jersey in the 1980s.
She is survived by three children, Judy Horchen of Indiana, Jeff Horchen and his wife Ramona of Johnsonburg, and Scott Horchen and his wife Rhonda of Johnsonburg; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Mrs. Adam McGraw, Joleen, Mrs. Jeremy Green, Randi Horchen and her fiance Ryan Means, Justin Horchen, Cara Horchen and her companion Josh Gadley, Marlee Horchen and Devon Horchen; two great-grandchildren, Dominic McGraw and Remmick Means; three stepchildren,
Carol Nebesnak, Emil Nebesnak Jr. and Glenn Nebesnak; and four step-grandchildren, Brian Nebesnak and Danielle, Glenn Jr. and Justin Nebesnak.
Vistitation and funeral services for Theresa Virginia Nebesnak were private.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, PA 15845.
