Thomas G. Anderson

Thomas G. Anderson, 69, of 577 Kerner Ave., St. Marys, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center following an illness of the past year.
He was born Sept. 3, 1941, in St. Marys, son of the late Arthur and Bertha Selle Anderson.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1960. He was a retired employee of OSRAM Sylvania, retiring on Dec. 31, 1999, after 38 years of service.
On July 10, 1981, in the St. Mary's Church, he married Mary E. Nero, who survives.
He was a member of the St. Mary's Church, enjoyed car racing, liked to fix things and enjoyed making sausage.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Marie Levenduski (Joe) of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Sara DeMars (Joshua) of Sugar Hill, Ga.; two sons, Michael T. Anderson (Kris) of St. Marys and John P. Anderson (Stephanie) of Shelby Township, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Loretta (Buffy) Schaberl at home; two stepsons, Luke G. Schaberl (Joy) of Tulsa, Okla., and Dwayne F. Schaberl (Renee) of St. Marys; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Stauffer of St. Marys, Jean Espin of Jamestown, N.Y., and Patricia Pearson of Emporium; and a brother, James Anderson of St. Marys.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas G. Anderson will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
