Timothy J. Laird

Timothy J. Laird, 57, of 610 South Michael Rd., St. Marys, died on Monday evening, Dec. 9, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 25, 1956 in St. Marys, a son of Anna Ausserer Laird of St. Marys and the late Robert T. Laird, who preceded him in death in 2003.
Tim was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Queen of the World Church. He was employed by Morgan AM&T. He was a member of the CMF, the Moose and was a life member of the May Hollow Sportmans Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Most of all, he enjoyed his cats, Snowball and Ginger.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Robert Laird and his wife Jane of Emporium; three sisters, Rose Ann, Mrs. John Youngmark of DuBois, Mary, Mrs. Thomas Squires of St. Marys and Virginia "Ginny", Mrs. Alan Schneider of St. Marys; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick and Patrick Laird.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Timothy J. Laird will be celebrated at the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Rd., St. Marys, on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at noon with Rev. Richard Allen, Pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys, on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m.
