Timothy Paul Meyer, 24, of 323 S. Michael St., St. Marys, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.
He was born April 14, 1986, in St. Marys, son of Roger Meyer of Warren and Julie Mallison Young of St. Marys, who survive.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Ridgway High School. He attended basic training for the Army. He was a former employee of Pro Process in St. Marys and Alpha Sintered Metals in Ridgway.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Ronald Young; a sister, Lisa Meyer at home; a brother, Daniel Young at home, two stepsisters, Becky Polaski of St. Marys and Liz Cuneo of St. Marys; a stepbrother, Tim Young of Brockway; maternal grandfather Joseph Mallison of St. Marys; paternal grandparents, Elsworth "Bud" and Germaine Meyer of St. Marys; and by aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Margaret "Peggy" Mallison.
A funeral service for Timothy Paul Meyer will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Eric Vogt OSB. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
