Tina M. Close

Tina M. Close, 43, of East Weber Avenue, DuBois, died suddenly at work, Tuesday, May 24, 2011.
She was born October 3, 1968 in Lynn, Mass., daughter of Eugene Close of Ridgway and Ann (Moats) Stroud of St. Marys, who survive.  
She was a clerk at Snappy’s of DuBois and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. She lived most of her life in Massachusetts and lived in the St. Marys/Ridgway area for 10 years until moving to DuBois last year to attend school.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four children, Desiray Close of St. Marys, Dri-Anna Close of DuBois, Darelle Close of St. Marys, and Destini VanAlstyne of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Rashawn and JaCory Close; two brothers, Timothy Close of Ridgway and Clarence Close of St. Marys; two sisters, Renee Close of Massachusetts and Jean Close of St. Marys; and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her stepfather, Milton Stroud.
Funeral services for Tina M. Close will be held at noon today at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home in St. Marys.
There will be no visitation.
