Vicki F. Caruso

Vicki F. Caruso, age 90, of River Road, Weedville, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at home.
She was born Jan. 28, 1920 in Caledonia, daughter of the late Modesto and Rose (Manganelli) Bartoletti. On June 4, 1949, she married Albert L. Caruso, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2007.
She was a lifelong resident of Bennetts Valley and a graduate of Weedville High School, Class of 1938. She was a homemaker, a member of the Weedville United Methodist Church, a past member of Valley Women’s Club, served as a Methodist Women’s Ladies Aide, and for the past 28 years volunteered for the yearly Daffodil Campaign.She is survived by four children, Mrs. Wendell (Carol) Carter of Johnstown, Terry Caruso and his partner Jeanie Rebuck of Penfield, Denny Caruso and his wife Peggy of Caledonia, and Keith Caruso of Penfield; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, Charlie, Leo, Manuel and Evo Bartoletti; and two sisters, Anna Bartoletti and Nellie Tartaglia.
Funeral services for Vicki F. Caruso will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield. Interment will take place at Gardner Hill Cemetery in Weedville.
The family will be welcoming friends to the funeral service on Wed., December 29 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Weedville United Methodist Church or Community Nurses, Inc.
