Annette H. “Annie” Vecellio, 78, of Evergreen Drive, Ridgway, and formerly of Bradford, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Ridgway, following a brief illness.


She was born July 27, 1929 in France, daughter of the late Maurice and Marguerite (Hautcoeur) Levavaseur.

She was born and raised in France, came to the USA to Bradford in 1956 and lived most of her life in Bradford before moving to Ridgway this year. She was a waitress and enjoyed family and friends and truly enjoyed life.

She is survived by two children, Aimee Kemick of Ridgway, and Andrew and Jennifer Vecellio of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Claire and Elizabeth Kemick and Jack and Olivia Vecellio; and dear friend of over 50 years, Amy Frisina of Bradford.

Memorial Service for Annette Vecellio will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the St. Leo Catholic Church in Ridgway with Father Ted Marconi officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Community Nurses, Inc.

The Ubel Funeral Home in Johnsonburg, is in charge of arrangements.
