Thompson, Gabler to hold joint constituent hours on April 2
Written by Publisher
Monday, 30 March 2009

DuBois – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson, R-Howard, and State Representative Matt Gabler, R-Treasure Lake, announced today that their district office staff will hold joint office hours to assist constituents with both federal and state issues on Thursday, April 2.

“This partnership with Representative Gabler and his office will undoubtedly serve our shared constituents well. The Fifth District is larger than nine states, including New Jersey.  While I maintain two full time district offices, one in Titusville the other Bellefonte, it is important for me and my staff to take the office on the road to hear firsthand the issues affecting  Elk and Clearfield County and assist in every way possible.”

Continued Gabler, “I am very pleased to work with Congressman Thompson to provide the citizens of Elk and Clearfield Counties with convenient access to all levels of their government. I believe government works best on behalf of the people when federal, state and local officials cooperate and remain accountable to their citizens.  I look forward to working with Congressman Thompson as a great partner in serving the people of our area in an effective and responsible manner both now and in the future.”

Thompson and Gabler’s staff will be available to answer questions and to assist Elk and Clearfield County residents and business owners with a wide array of issues including, economic and workforce development opportunities, social security, Medicare and Medicaid, and veterans benefits. If you are not able to attend and need assistance, please feel free to contact Congressman Thompson’s Office at 814-353-0215 or Representative Gabler’s Office at 814-375-4688.
