The Ridgway Police Department is currently investigating a burglary, theft and criminal mischief that occurred on Oct. 9 sometime between 2 and 7 a.m. at Cliffe's store on a report that the front glass doors were broken. Upon clearing the store, police found that the pharmacy was entered through a rear entrance. After further investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police R&I Unit from Punxsutawney was contacted to collect blood evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
