Plans underway on community recycling center

The Elk County Solid Waste Authority is in the process of putting the finishing touches on a building that is set to become its community recycling center. The building, located in the Stackpole Complex in St. Marys, is being rented from North Central.

Photo by Becky Polaski An All Souls Day Procession was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. beginning at St. Mary’s Church on Church Street in St. Marys. Participants walked from the church to St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A reception was held at the cemetery building following prayers and a blessing.
