She was born Aug. 2, 1921, in Ridgway, the daughter of Acie and Margaret Ott Shilk. On Aug. 7, 1943, she married Eugene C. Dias, he predeceased her on Sept. 19, 1991.

Mrs. Dias had resided in Ridgway for most of her life. She was a member of the Faith Church. She had been employed at Elk County General Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1991.

She is survived by four children, Marlene Delhunty (Richard); Evelyn MacDonald (Edward); Gary Dias (Vicki); and Joey Dias, all of Ridgway; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and by a sister, Margerie Dippold of Ridgway.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and by a sister, Shirley Sheehan.

A Memorial Service for Lucille Dias will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. John Smith. Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday morning for one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
