Virginia A. Galdini

Virginia A. Galdini, 50, of 213 Old Kane Rd., Wilcox, died Thursday morning, Sept. 20, 2012 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 13, 1961 in Kane, daughter of the late Richard and Shirley Polinski Disque. She married Reynold "Reno" Galdini on Sept. 11, 1982 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg; he survives.
She was a lifelong resident of Wilcox. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1979 and attended the St. Francis Hospital Nurses Aide Training Program. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church. She worked in private home health care and was a private duty home health care worker.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Peggy Galdini and her husband Vincent Votta of Virginia Beach, Va., and Reynold B. Galdini of Portsmouth, Va.; one brother, Richard Disque Jr. and his wife Roberta of Wilcox; six sisters, Sherry Disque of Ridgway, Sharon Penfield of Johnsonburg, Shelly, Mrs. David Roebuck of Johnsonburg, Jean, Mrs. Kerry Keneske of Johnsonburg, Dawn Sandy of Wilcox and Millie, Mrs. Dan Yurchick of Wilcox.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia A. Galdini will be conducted at the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Monday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
