William H. Decker

William H. Decker, 83, of 1207 E. Eschbach Road, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Punxsutawney Hospital following a lengthy illness. 
He was born February 5, 1930 in St. Marys, a son of the late Clarence and Gertrude Klausman Decker.
On April 24, 1965 in Tyler Church, he married Thomasine Czajkouski Decker, who survives.
Mr. Decker was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Queen of the World Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after many years of service. He was a member of the K of C, and was a life member of the Sportsmen's and the American Legion, where he also served as Past Commander. He enjoyed going to camp, hunting and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 
In addition to his wife of nearly 48 years, Thomasine Czajkouski Decker, he is survived by two sons, William Decker Jr. of Wyoming and Mark Decker and his wife Tracey of Kersey; three daughters, Suzanne, Mrs. Donald Klinger of Reynoldsville, Eleanor, Mrs. James Babcock of Kersey, and Elizabeth, Mrs. Joel Singer of St. Marys; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Anne, Mrs. Donald Goetz of St. Marys.  
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Marietta Decker; and a sister, Corinne Kuntz.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William H. Decker will be celebrated at the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, on Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant.
Military honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
