William H. Frutiger

William H. Frutiger, 80, of Penfield, died on Monday, May 23, 2011 at DuBois Nursing Home.
He was born on October 22, 1930, in Bradford. 
He was married to the late Carolyn A. (Moate) Frutiger, to whom he was married for 58 years.  She preceded him in death on May 27, 2004.
He was a Pipeliner by trade and worked hard his entire life.
He is survived by a son, Joseph D. Frutiger and his wife Sharon of Penfield; a daughter, Terri D. (Frutiger) Wells and her husband Ronald of Smicksburg; a sister, Evelyn Cole of Bradford; six grandchildren, Bradden Frutiger U.S. Army, Germany, Owen Lee, Keith (Lisa) Crawford U.S. Army Reserve, Crawfordtown, Jason (Kim) Crawford, U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, Alicia (Pat) Moore of Rural Valley and Nathan Wells of Black Lick; and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Crawford, Cullen Crawford and Peyton Moore.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of William Frutiger and his family, there will be no services. Friends and family who wish to share in the life of "Bill" are welcome to attend a memorial toast at the Gateway Café, DuBois, on Friday at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to DRMC Hospice:  Department of Development, P.O. Box 447 DuBois, PA 15801; or to The DuBois Nursing Home, 208 S. 8th St. DuBois, PA 15801.
