William A. Johnson

William A. Johnson, 75, of Pinecrest Manor, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at his residence.
He was born March 23, 1935, in Philipsburg, the son of the late William R. and Margaret Goss Johnson. Mr. Johnson had resided in Ridgway for most of his life. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He had been employed at Motion Control and at the Boot Jack Service Station. He enjoyed playing bingo.
He is survived by a cousin, Donna Penfield of Ridgway.
A memorial service for William A. Johnson will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Buelah Cemetery in Houtzdale.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ridgway Ambulance Corp., 120 N. Broad St., Ridgway or to Pinecrest Manor, 763 Johnsonburg Rd., St. Marys, PA 15857.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
